The Granny Flat is a homey unit that can house three people comfortably.  It's small, but both beds - a queen size Murphy and a single bed love seat, are easily folded completely out of the way during the day.  For dining there's a narrow table against the wall that can expand or you might just want to sit at the low window counter for a view of the garden and Mt. Harding Glacier.

The Granny Flat has wireless internet access, satellite TV and a DVD player.  The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with eating and cooking utensils as well as various condiments, herbs and spices.  But it is also only a short walk to Skagway's Historic District for restaurant choices.  The SMART Bus may also be available.

The garden itself features flowers, vegetables, and fruits: rhubarb from May - July, two fence rows of raspberries in July and August, and apples from late August thru September.  You're welcome to wander the yard and help yourself.

Your hosts: Su, an accountant, & John, a railroad engineer, are busy people so we don't provide breakfast, but we will try to meet any special needs you might have.  There are currently no taxis in town, but arrangements can be made for late night pickups if you will call at least 2 or 3 days ahead of time.  The vacancy calendar is updated regularly so you can check on your own for availability, but please call for reservations.

We request an advance deposit equal to one night's lodging to secure your reservation, and we collect the amount remaining on your bill when you arrive.  Deposits are refundable only if cancellations are received with at least seven days notice.  Visa and Mastercard are accepted.  Contact us via email if you have any further questions or concerns.

Local Rates for Haines, Juneau, & Whitehorse OR
     friends & relatives visiting Skagway residents:
$100 per night OR 3+ nights @ $91 per night

Prices are based on double occupancy.
     Please add $12 per night for 3rd person
